Being Self-Employed: Fantasize Your Way To Success

I've discovered a very new and purposeful reason to embrace Halloween: slipping out of your day-to-day life and stepping into the super successful persona that you want to be! Children and party goers alike look forward to Halloween as a time to masquerade as their favorite s/heroe or Super character! Disney, Looney Tunes, PixSar and a slew of animated fancies draw throngs of admirers to dress as their favorite 'alter ego'. And while I'm no longer conscripted to provide safe and fun entertainment for my once young children and have actually no interest in the traditional Halloween reverie, I do see the value in 'make believe' as a way to bolster one's commitment to success in business [and most everything else!]. Some call it 'role playing' others call it 'guided imagery,' however what it is, is old fashioned fantasy -- the creative power that moves us beyond our day 'dreams' and into our daily life! What 'costume' would you don for a few moments in order to see yourself as the successful entrepreneur/small business owner that you are? Oprah Winfrey? Donald Trump? Jackie Onassis? Ross Perot? Think about it, then look at some costumes and see which one fits your current image of who you would be for a few successful business moments -- or whose footsteps you'd parallel. . . Take a look at the costume I choose for my 'guided imagery' into success -- along with my reasons for choosing it! Shorter days and longer nights -- time to get social and reflective on the steps taken and gains made this year! Fantasize YOUR way to success -- its actually what we all do! YE is Here!
